Allianz-owned Territory Insurance Office (TIO) has launched a digital claims facility with the support of UK-based online digital claims platform developer 360Globalnet.

TIO decided on the platform after the pilot run produced improved efficiencies in claims handling and better customer engagement.

“We are continually looking for new ways to improve our claims service proposition and make things easier for Territorians,” General Insurance Claims Senior Manager Margaret Pratten said.

“We are excited to be able to offer a digital means of communication and, by doing so, we will be able to streamline our internal processes and significantly reduce the time it takes a customer to provide evidence relating to a claim.”

360Globalnet has won contracts with key insurance-linked companies since opening an office in Australia last year.

Its clients include Gallagher, repair specialist AMA Group and third-party claims administrator Focussed Loss Management.
